In Reception we have been learning about how to take care of animals. A representative from the RSPCA came into Unit 4 and spoke to us about being kind to animals. 
We have explored different ways of making numbers. 
During the Autumn Term we spent time during Science lessons learning about forces. This ranged from a basic force such as pushing and pulling to more sophisticated forces such as non-human forces.
The theme for Year 1/2 during the Autumn term was Books and Toys.
During Design Technology we developed our understanding of moving books and how they work through the use of pop-ups, sliders and levers. Following our investigative work we made our own moving pictures using levers and sliders. We thought about the most appropriate materials to use.
