ICT Club

ICT Club takes place every Tuesday at 3:30pm for 45 minutes. This term Miss. Bryan and Miss. Reeves are working with Year 3/4. This will change next term.

During the club children are taught how to improve their computer skills to help them inside and outside of school. We are very fortunate to have an interactive whiteboard in our suite which aids teaching and learning.

During our ICT sessions we have discussed internet use and how to be safe when using the internet. Children have been searching for specific images and learning how to save them and insert in word documents. During this term we will allow children to use the digital camera, then download images  to create their own documents, this might be a informative poster, leaflet, factfile of information on a specific subject. Finished work will be displayed in the iCT suite.Watch this page for more news and pictures!

There is a waiting list for the ICT club. We give priority to children who do not have access to a computer or the internet outside of school.
